On Friday 2nd of June, the whole school had a sports dress up day, accompanied with some juicy sausages for our rumbling stomachs. This was a day for our school community to get behind the Grade 6s and support our graduation.
To show our gratitude, we year 6s had a variety of games and activities for students to participate in at recess and lunch. It was a pleasure seeing younger students with smiles on their faces, joining in on all of the fun. I, for one, had a ball playing the ‘Never Ending’ game with the Preps and Year 1/2 students.
It was also a great day for students to dress up in their favorite sports team.As there were many children dress in sports gear, it was stunning to see children passionate about their teams.
To conclude, I am very happy to say that every student left school with a smile on their face, and I hope every child felt our gratitude. Thank you, once again, to everyone who ordered a sausage, wore sports gear, brought in a gold coin donation, and/or participated in our Grade 6 activities.
